The most important thing I have learnt in my life and what I strive towards is to be dis-passionate. You can even say it is the only passion I have in my life.
@Shruti: by being dispassionate i mean stepping away from a situation to look at it in a new light, without any emotions or the drive with which I do anything. Allows me to many a time criticize myself as well as see better. i think we all do that in our own ways and call it by different names. But I have seen that my best usually goes into anything when I follow this... so passionately being dis-passionate i guess :)
